Professional One-Time Installation Service

If you aren't comfortable managing servers, databases, or terminal commands, I offer a professional installation service to get your system live and secured.

1. What’s Included in the £99 Service?

When you purchase a one-time installation, I handle the heavy lifting:

  • Server Environment Setup: Configuration of PHP, MySQL, and Nginx/Apache.
  • Database Creation: Setting up and securing your shop's database.
  • Software Deployment: Uploading the latest version of Fixly and installing all dependencies.
  • SSL Configuration: Ensuring your site is secure (HTTPS) with an SSL certificate.
  • Optimization: Running performance commands like php artisan optimize to ensure the fastest possible speeds.
  • Final Handover: Testing the booking wizard and admin login before handing you the keys.

2. How to Request Installation

Since every server environment (Shared Hosting, VPS, or Dedicated) is slightly different, I manage these requests manually to ensure quality.

  1. Navigate to the Contact Page: Use the contact page to send us a message.
  2. Select the Subject: Use the subject line "Installation Request".
  3. Provide Details: In the message box, please provide:
    • The domain name you plan to use.
    • Your Hosting Provider (e.g., DigitalOcean, HostGator, Linode).
    • Your preferred contact method.
  4. Submit: Once submitted, I will review your request and get back to you within 24 hours with an invoice and a list of temporary credentials needed to begin the setup.

3. What You Need Before We Start

To make the installation as fast as possible, please have the following ready:

  • A Registered Domain: Ensure you own the domain you want the software installed on.
  • Hosting/Server Access: You will need to provide temporary access to your hosting control panel (cPanel, Plesk, or SSH).
  • License Key: You must have already purchased your Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime license.

4. After-Installation Support

Once the installation is complete, you will receive a confirmation email. From that point, you can log in and begin following the "First Launch Guide" to set up your business hours and pricing.

Note: The £99 fee covers the initial labor of setting the software up on your server. It does not include the cost of your domain, hosting, or your Fixly software license.
